Sean

I have tried numberous times to install the drivers for
the onboard audio. Most recently, I was in Windows
Update. When it came to installing the media driver, a
pop-up said:
"wdmaud.drv" on Windows XP Home Edition CD ROM is
needed. In the copy files from window, it said:
"e:\wutemp\pubname.4541876\i386. When I insert my
Windows XP upgrade CD, it does not accept. In order to
proceed, I must cancel. How can I install these drivers?

Sean;
Get the drivers from the motherboard manufacturer instead, that is
generally the best source.

You know, it actually worked this time. I've tried
downloading from the motherboard cd for the past two
weeks and it never worked. For whatever reason it worked
this time. Thanks for the help. If you don't mind, I
have one more question...how can I get my computer to
recognize my sony dcr-trv250 camcorder? I'm using a
DLINK DFB-A5 IEEE1394 card. Also, the Sony website is
not helpful. Could you advise...
Thanks...
