cannot get sound to work

i installed the windows XP upgrade and now the sound
doesnt work. there appears to be no device conflicts or
problems with any of the sound drivers, all speakers are
connected, and all the volume controls are unmuted and
turned up to max. i use a soundblaster live wave device.
any suggestions????

Yes, you need to go to creative.com and update the drivers for your sound
card.
Does the same thing to me with my Audigy 2 card until I go and update the
drivers for it.

Hi. I had the same problem. I uninstalled and then
reinstalled the sound driver, and it worked. Hope this is
of some help...Alastair.
