Cannot get rid of ADC

Guest

I have come to a company in a bit of a mess.
Current setup, 1 x 2000Svr with Exchange 2000 and Active Directory Connector
to an old NT box with Exchange5.5 which no longer exists, and has been
removed from the AD Computers & Users.

They have called me in to install new 2003 server with Exchange 2003 Std.

I am trying to remove the ADC so I can put this as a Native Win2000 domain.
I already have the Win2003 box setup and DCPromo'd. But I do not want to
install Exchange 2003 till I get this in Native state.

Everytime I try to remove ADC is says "Setup is unable to continue as it has
detected there are one or more connections agreement(s)......"
I have deleted two agreements, and the only thing left is;
CONFIG_CA_DOM_SERVERNAME
which does not have the option to remove... How can I get rid of ADC form
this box???

Thanks
Steve

I would post this in an Exchange group. My response would be to just delete the
object in AD directly with ADSIEDIT or some other LDAP mod tool and that answer
may not be right for Exchange but will certainly result in that object being gone.
