cannot get out of safe mode

Was talking to my isp had me go into safe mode via msconfig. Now that I am in
safe mode is saying windows not loaded for safe mode so can not get out.
Anyone able to give me any help. F8 was not able to give me safe mode option.
that is why went in that way....running windows xp...

Hi Dana,

Your message is kind of confusing.. you say you are in safe mode, but
windows is reporting you aren't?

What are the exact messages - if any - you are seeing on your screen
concerning "safe mode" Which version of XP (Home or Professional) are you
running?

You may have a card that doesn't have the correct drivers for your OS.
