cannot get laptop to recognise 800mb disks

I have several 7>800mb films but cannot write them to disk as my laptop will
not recognise disks over 700mb. how do I sort this? thanks

Cut the file using and burn it to two CD's. AVI and MPEG cutter's are all
over the web. try searching www.google.com
