cannot get civilization 2 to run

Hi. Have been having a hard time trying to get
civilization 2 to run on my xp. I've tried the
compatibility wizard to no effect. Installation goes off
fine, but when i try to run it, the following errors pop
up: Cannot find cdiman.dll
Cannot find dciman.dll
Cannot find commctrl.dll
I have checked a few websites and there doesn't seem to
be any patches available adressing this issue. hope you
can help.

Hi Jason,

Have you tried uninstalling the game and then installing
it again using compatibility mode for the setup program?
