Cannot get add printer wizard to come up

Perry Minyard

We have a Win XP Professional system that seems to have
some problem with the printers. When I open the printers
and faxes windows, and click on the add new printer
wizard, nothing happens at all. We're logged in as
administrator.

Help!
 
Is the print spooler running?

From the command prompt, type

net start spooler

(and hit enter)

Then try to use the Add Printer Wizard again.
