OK, let's start from the beginning....

Is the print spooler actually running?

Are you an Administrator?

Yes, I am admin. User acoount have local admin rights. and spooler is
running. Also user is able to print from word, excel by selection
"file/print". I can sell all local and network printer installed there. But
not under "printer and fax". Also "add printer wizard " does not work.

Well Novell Netware hasn't. We still have customers that use it and tend to
have problems with caching, long file names and locking.

What is the time and date on \windows\system32\printui.dll?

Tell me about it!

The biggest problem is that the Windows API function FindFirstFile sometimes
finds the *wrong* file if there are two files file names that match in the
first 8 characters, which just so happens to be a common occurence in our
application. It is a combination of which driver they are using, its
configuration, which version of Netware they're using, etc. I don't know
what to do about it except recommend 8.3 files names with no spaces.

If basic functions like that don't work, you're pretty much screwed.

I found about 3,000 places that called the Delphi function FileExists() that
won't work because that calls FindFirstFile. It's not like I can change all
3,000 to call my own version that checks the results. If it checked what it
*really* found in the WIN32_FIND_DATA, it would catch the mistake.
