cannot forward or "send to"

I cannot send a message when i click on "send to a friend" or "send this page"

nor can i use the "send to" from the file menu. I show I can send by fax
but not email. I says it was installed incorrectly I haVE OFFICE HOME AND
STUDENT 2007
installed by Staples.
 
Exactly what program are you in when you click on
"send to a friend" or "send this page"?
