cannot find server or DNS error.

everytime i try to log on to some sites "cannot find sever or DNS error" pops up. what is the problem? i have never had this issue before. i use to be able to log on to the site. can anyone help me? i'm truely tee'd off at this xp system

It may not be you/your PC - it may be your ISP. You may also have invalid
entries in your DNS cache - I suggest searching "Help and Support" on
flushing the DNS cache. Once done and the problem still arises, it most
likely is your ISP or you have entered an invalid DNS server name/address in
your networking setup.
