Cannot find photogallery.msi

I am installing Vista Ultimate upgrade over XP Home SP2. No hardware issues
detected on upgrade advisor. The install made it to asking me for time zone,
then rebooted. Now it is "configuring Photogallery" and it cannot find the
installation package photogaller.msi. I searched the dvd and my computer, to
no avail - I am sure it is compacted somewhere. If I click cancel, it just
comes back. Can someone tell me where i can find the file so my install will
continue?? Or :( do I have to start over?

I'm having a different problem with Photo Gallery. I did a successful install
of Vista over XP Home, but now PG wants to run every time that I open a video
folder and play a video.

Poz - it is considered "bad" posting procedure to "piggy back" on another
post. You should state your problem as a separate post.

Having said that - change the file association to whatever program you
prefer.

Thanks for the advice AJR, but I didn't think my problem was that different
from Cynzea's. I too developed the problem after installing Vista and also
received the same error message. My video file associations are set for
Windows Media Player. The photogallery errror loads at the same time as WMP.
I have to cancel the message to stop if from laying on top of my video. If
someone can solve my problem maybe it will fix Cynzea's problem.

Poz - My error was preventing Vista from finishing installing, and this is
how I solved it. Took the 6 hours and reinstalled Vista. Did nothing
different, but now I don't get hung up looking for a phantom file. :) I
don't think your problem is with file associations, I think it is related in
that photogallery did not completely install. Good luck!
