Cannot find local profile

When booting up this morning (XP Professional), after I
was asked for my password, when loading personal settings,
system said: (User Environment Box) Cannot find local
profile.
The system then proceeded to a blue screen, and also
popped up a window that said that there was an error with
Microsoft Explorer; it asked if I wanted to send error
report, which I did.

Screen is entirely blue, no icons. CtrlAltDel does bring
up task manager and I can shut down from there.

Run a system restore from an earlier date and you will be fine.
