Cannot find "Administrator" user in windowsXP

I cannot find "Administrator" user in my users list.
Even when i try to create one its says the user with
such name already exist. But i cant see it anywhere in
users list.

Hi, Boot into Safe Mode and see if it appears on the Welcome Screen.

The administrator account does not show up in regular Windows XP boot mode.
Boot is Safe Mode.

Go into administive tools, then computer management, the click local users and
groups, then users. It will show *all* of the user accounts. Several accounts,
such as the administrator, and anything starting with iuser_ will not appear in
the normal user accounts in the control panel.

I do not have user groups under computer management under
admin tools, and cannot find them anywhere.

Where would they be if not there?

I'm using a Sony Vaio with XP Home Edition.

right click my computer icon
go manage
local users and groups..
there ya are...
