"CANNOT FIND 0 DRIVE PRESS F1 TO CONTINUE" message

Hello,

I get this every time I restart the 'puter and have to press F1 before it
will boot.
This started only a short while ago. It used to skip right over the "Can't
locate. . ." message. I've made no changes to BIOS, added or removed any
hardware.

Can Help? Thanks,

This is occurring before the system knows anything about an OS.

So, it's really a hardware question for Dell.

It can be simply that the system battery is failing and needs to be
replaced. This is perhaps a few dollars.

Shut down, unplug the system power, open the case, find the battery (looks
like a nickel or quarter) and write down the battery type written on it.
Go get another, and put the new one in. Close the case, plug back in, and
you're done. You might need to go through Setup once to re-establish the
hardware list and the date.
