Cannot explore with D:

No matter what data cd i put into my cdrom, i cannot see the files on my
drive. Ive right clicked on the drive and clicked explore, ive done open....
Im running on a Windows Xp Home edition with SP2 installed. Its not the cd
as it works on other computers...
Any Help is much appriciated.
