It seems I am unable to remove picture folders once they are added to Media
Center. I used the 'Stop watching folder' settings to keep only the folder I
care about. But when I view a picture slide show while listening to music it
still shows all the pictures I have on my computer. This is frustrating since
I do not want to view album arts and my girlfried does not enjoy viewing my

Is my only choice is to remove these folder and pictures from my computer?
I hope there is a better option...

Thanks for your help!

I've asked this same question numerous times, even during the beta and RC1/2
phases, and have never had an answer.

With album art this is added by Media Center (or WMP11), so even if you
remove the generated jpgs, it will only recreate them oncemore. I always
embed the album art within the mp3/wma file and WMP11 will use these in the
Library view and not generate album art, why Media Center doesn't work this
way only Microsoft must know, but they aren't saying!

I know it might be more time consuming initially, but why they didn't allow
an option for you to select separate folders for watching video, picture and
music files is beyond me.

My experience is that wndows media player watch folders feed the Media
center libraries. So, if you stop watching those in wmp they will stop being
available in mce.
