Cannot email photos

E

Eberthiel

When I open a photo and then click on "email" in my Photo Gallery or
Pictures folder, I get the dialog box asking me to choose a picture size.
When I choose and then click okay, I see another dialog box flashing by, too
fast to read it, and no email message ever opens up. I have Windows Vista
Home Premium. Thanks for any help!

Click Start, select Default Programs
Click Set program access and computer defaults
Click Custom, and select your mail client (for example, Windows Mail)
Click OK

And then:

Click "Set your default programs"
Select "Windows Mail"
Click "Set this program as default"
Click OK.

After I select "Custom",to select mail client, "Use my current e-mail
program" is set; cannot uncheck so no options for e.g. windows mail.

Thank you, this worked (finally). Where were you over a month ago when I
tried online tech support, then phone calls, then e-mail support from HP.
NONE of them could ever even grasp the problem. Thank you again.

Excellent! Thanks for the update, Linda.

Microsoft Newsgroups is one of the best places in the web for peer to peer support on Microsoft products. There are other reputed forums as well, such as experts-exchange.com, www.aumha.net etc, that you can use in future.
