Photo Gallery doesn't display photos I click on.

When I double click on a JPG file from CD or a networked drive,
Windows Photo Gallery launches but instead of showing me the photo I
clicked on, it shows me the 20 pictures I have in the "My Pictures"
folder. I try the same CD of photos on a different Vista machine and
it opens the photo as I would expect. So I think there's some setting
on the first machine that is messing me up. Does anyone have ideas of
what to try?

I'm using Vista Home Premium on both machines I tested with.

Hi,

See if applying the .JPG association fix from here helps.
