Hi...I've been having the problem many others have, where IE "cannot download" many file types, including .swf files.
I surfed the net and found a million potential solutions, but the only thing that worked ironically was clicking "delete files" in Internet options! The strange thing is, I thought I was doing that regularly every few days anyway.
So I think I need to REALLY delete the temp int files folder, but not sure how. Its size is 1.36 GB and the size on disk is 2.41GB. I'm using Win ME sadly and do not have a bootable disk. How can I safely delete this whole folder and start from scratch.
And two more general questions that I've long wondered:
1) Why are those Content.IE folders hidden?
2) How come there is no Advanced tab in Internet Options in Win ME?
Thanks very much for your time and help,
Michael Ellis
