I recently installed Windows XP Home Addition as an upgrade. For some reason I keep getting a pop-up message from Help and Support Center with the following message:

The page you are trying to display has an incorrect address and can not be displayed. Please try another page. How do I get rid of this pop-up?

First of all, there is no XP Home "Addition". It is spelled Edition.

Secondly, it would help if you indicated what it is that triggers this
pop-up...using IE, or whatever.

I'm having pretty much the same problem. I'm running XP Pro on a 4 gig
computer with 512 meg -O- ram..

have two computers.. one works fine on this page and one doesn't.. here's
what's happening. when I select the page www.scancat.com
and go to the free stuff then select support files, a right hand pane opens
up and allows me to ftp files. the computer that isn't working properly
displays a page that says "page can not be displayed" I have tried
everything that I can think of.. any suggestions would be welcomed. Please,
also email me your comments..

Thanks,

Rikki

You fü¢king dumb ¢ünt! Can you not READ???
The OP clearly stated that, "I keep getting a pop-up message from Help and Support Center", while you also are being a spelling lame for the OP addressing Edition as Addition.
