Cannot Display emails in inbox

I am using Outlook 2000, on July 10, 2008, my outlook stops displaying new
emails in my inbox folder. But I can hear new emails are coming in my inbox
and my inbox emails count keep on going up (now I have 3126 emails in the
inbox). Also, I notice some old emails they repeat 4 times in my inbox. My
email server is Comcast. Right now, I am using the web mail to check my
emails. Can you help me to resolve my outlook problems. Thanks.

Perhaps your view of the Inbox is filtered?

View > Current View > Messages is what should be checked.

If you're seeing multiple copies of the same mail arriving, disable your
antivirus integration with Outlook. It won't compromise your security, your
real time scanner will catch anything it's updated for.

Please post back and let me know how you make out.

Internet Mail only or Corporate/Workgroup mode? Did you install any updates
to Windows? Have you tried resetting Outlook's view? Have you checked the
size of your PST? Exactly what have you done already to try to solve the
problem?

No, my view is not filitered, it is set at View > Current View > Messaages.
It stops at July 10, 2008, but I can hear new emails are coming in and the
inbox email counts are at 3912 and keep on growing.

Also, how do I disable the antivirus integration with Outlook? Please
instruct. Thanks.

I have Window XP - Software Updates on July 10, 2008 for: Security Update for
Window XP (KB951748). After that, my Outlook won't display any new emails in
my Inbox, but I can hear and see emails are coming (from the Inbox count) in
my Outlook. I can use the Comcast's web mail to see my new emails. I only
use Internet Mail thru Comcast and not using any corporate/Workgroup. I have
reset my Outlook's view. I know my PST files are very big. Still have the
problem. Any more advice?

You'll have to verify the size of your PST. Outlook 2000 has a limit on PST
size of 2 GB but it can begin to misbehave or even corrupt at just over the
1.5 GB mark.

That's not what I asked. Click Help>About. What do the first two lines
read?
