Cannot disconnect dial-up session.

I just recently re-installed W2k (Originally ME, but not
for long)on my Compaq 5104US. After re-installing all the
latest drivers I tranferred my ISP dial-up settings and
went online. I can close IE without a problem. However,
when I try to disconnect it never does. I need to either
unplug the phone line or reboot the computer. Also, if I
right-click the connection and choose "Properties" I get
an "Unexpected Error" message. Any comments or advice
would be helpful. Thank you.

Sounds like you installed your ISP's dialler for ME
and it is not compatible with W2K. Check with them?
