Cannot delete or read some emails in Outlook 2007 or calendar even

sporadically I cannot delete email or calendar entries. I receive an error
message: c:\documents and settings\michelle bansch\localsettings\application
data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst. I have tried to use the outlook recovery
thing and it doesn't work. Help. I getting several that i cannot delete or
read.

Is it perhaps asking you to repair the data file?

Duh....it wasn't. I tried to copy and paste...obviously didn't work.

The message says
Cannot open this Item. Errors have been detected in the file c:\documents
and settings\michelle > > bansch\localsettings\applicationI have run scanpst.exe and it hasn't corrected it.

I have tried to do this

Run scanpst on the data file several times, see if that helps.
If not have you upgraded from an earlier version of Outlook, eg did you
upgrade origonally to 2003, then to 2007?
And if so what is the size of your data file?

Also you may wish to run a disk checking utility, available from your hard
drive manufacturers site, or if a large OEM PC, eg Dell, they have a disk
checking utility
