Cannot delete or fix corrupted file in XP Home

I have XP home and have a Dr Watson log file of 53mb+ in
my documents and Setings folder that I cannot delete. It
is "corrupted and unreadable". It shows up in Explorer,
but cannot be copied, cut, deleted, renamed, moved, etc.
Since the drive is NTFS I cannot boot to DOS and try to
remove it from the dot prompt. I have run chkdsk /r from
the recovery console several times and it does not
find/fix this file. Chkdsk shows no error.

Does anyone have an idea how to delete this file?

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. I have
looked at these links, but am still not able to delete
the file. The problem is not permissions or attributes.

For some reason, I can look at the file in explorer, but
every action I try with file returns the message "file or
folder is corrupted and unreadable". The file name is
drwtsn32.log

Thanks,

end/
