Cannot delete Network Bridge

I have been trying to connect my network to my DSL connection through my D-Link router. The network has been working and the DSL modem (Speedstream 5100) appears to see everything on the network (all the lights are green), but it will not connect through the router. That was my original problem.

Now my problem is that the wizard creates bridges that I cannot delete. I can disable them, but when I try to delete them, it gives me a message that an error occurred. Now, I have 3 disabled bridges that I cannot delete. Is there something that I need to replace in my operating system. I don't know what piece of it is damaged.
