When I setup a home network bridge on my ( to connect two pc's thru a hub )
my internet connection fails. I have cable high speed connection via cable
modem to hub and the two pc's are connected to this hub. My internet works
great till I setup home network. I go thru wizard process, it creates bridge
then restarts pc, after that I cannot connect to the internet. So I end up
deleting bridge to connect back to internet. I sthere a work-around to this
problem? Or is there something I need to do, with bridge or local area
connection, to fix this problem? Any anwsers would be great! Thanks

Is this an actual hub (make and model please)? Are you paying for 2 Internet
connections?

If so, then you'll need to use IPX/SPX for file sharing. File sharing over IP
is NOT secure.

If your Internet works, then don't play with the switch.

But do provide some answers please. Are you paying for 2 Internet addresses?
If so, they'll likely be on separate subnets, and file sharing over IP won't
work reliably.

have two seperate ip addresses for the two pc's. Wow that was simple! Again
