cannot delete messages

In Outlook Express, I cannot delete messages from my In
Box. The delete button doesn't work either with the
message open or with the message highlighted on the list;
when I press the delete button, I get a message saying the
message cannot be deleted. I also tried right clicking
the message title in the list and that delete command does
not work. Help?

Repost in a newsgroup for Outlook Express. This newsgroup is for
Outbox.

My quick reply is: Delete the inbox.dbx folder to have it recreated.
Maybe it got corrupted.

That's good advice only if the OP copies all the messages in it to another
folder first.
