mail stuck in sent box, cannot delete

there is one message stuck in the snet box, cannot be deleted. There is also
nothing in the reading pane. Have tried every wich way to delete. Also
cannot open the message.

Exactly what happens when you try? How about if you hold Shift while trying
to delete? What happens if you empty Deleted Items first? What version of
Outlook?
