I have received an unsolicited email meassage and sent it to the Delete
folder. However, every time I attempt to do anything with it (empty, open,
move, etc) I receive the "Send Error" box and Outlook shuts down. I have
searched my computer for any refence to this email by subject, to/from, et
al, but to no avail. I cannot remove this message. It is basically forcing
me to delete each and every email one at a time, because if I hit delete all,
it hangs up Outlook when the delete process gets to that email.

Have you tried using ScanPST.EXE to check your PST file to see if it needs
repair?

I can think of several options. Have you tried to hold down shift to
permanently delete the emails and/or hold down shift and select
multiple emails to permanently delete?

Also, the email might have corrupted some of your files so a scan might
help.

Or the email could have put some form of spyware on your computer and
you can run some programs to clean it up.

Or you can try to set up a rule to automatically delete any emails from
a certain person.

I have tried the hold procedure and that works, but the email is still there.
I did ad-aware, spy-bot and a virus scan...email still there. Thanx for the
help anyway.

I have tried the scanpst.exe, but I can't find anything that indicates the
file name or anything. AS I stated earlier, everytime I try to open, move,
delete, etc. Outlook locks up. below is all I can get when I right click and
hit options. This email will not go away!
