Cannot delete message in inbox

Inbox has unread message "FW: commercial"
Cannot read it, cannot delete it (an unknown error has occured).

Any ideas would be hekpful

Vista does not use Outlook Express - it uses Windows Mail. Open your email
program and click on Help-About and tell us whether you have Outlook or
Windows Mail....

As Gordon points out, there is no Outlook Express for Vista, what you're
using is Windows Mail. That particular problem is a well known issue for
which Microsoft has released this fix. See if it helps, it works for all
folders, not just the Outbox:

Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista
