Cannot Delete images on Sony Mavica

D

Dave

When moving images from the Sony Mavica CD300 to XP pro,
the images on the camera do not delete. I have tried to
delete them from XP but still cannot. I must manually
delete the images on the camera.

Any help or comments would be appreciated.

You never use your computer to delete pictures from your camera. You use
your camera to do this. To delete all the photos, you use FORMAT. Look in
your camera manual. Usually, Format is under File in your camera menu. You
select it, it will erase all the photos and you will be ready to take new
pictures.

I would suggest that you use CD-Rs in your CD300...
this would provide a great backup for your original
unedited images. And, actually...I'm thinking that re-
using CD-RWs will eventually result in corrupted files.
