Not able to use my Mavica MVC-CD1000

I just upgraded from 2000 to XP. I tried to reinstall the driver for my Sony
Mavica digital camera and it wouldn't work. I did a chat with Sony's tech
support and their answer is that it is not compatible with XP because XP does
not support packet writing.

I wanted to know if I could make it work by installing packet writing
software. He didn't know. I was thinking of Nero or Roxio has DirectCD that
comes with EZCD creator.

What do you think, will it work? There has to be some way around this
issue, right?

Not sure. Maybe all you need is a UDF reader driver.
