cannot delete from recycle bin

I have a folder in my recycle bin which I am trying to delete, but on every
attempt I get the error message "Cannot remove folder De12: The directory is
not empty".

The folder name is not De12, nor does it contain a subfolder of that name
How can I delete it?

Try deleting it in Safe Mode.
