Cannot delete folders....

Shortly after upgrading to SP2, I have notice that I have been having
difficulties in deleting folders - especially those containing music media.
In addition i have downloaded Windows Media Player 10 and a co-worker had
changed my user profile by creating a new user account (administrator access)
on my work domain.

I noticed that folder properties all have a light green shading in the
read-only attributes check-box whether I am logged in as an administrator or
a user under my work Domain profile ( I always use the work domain profile
either on or off the network).

I can delete the folders in my administrator account, however cannot do this
under my domain profile (which has full administrator rights). I turned off
file monitoring on the media player just to see if it had an effect - to no
success.

This occurs for new folders I had created - when attempting to delete i get
a error message to the effect of ....." Cannot delete Foldername: It is being
used by another person or program."

If the user profile was make new and attached to the old profile with same
rights etc....Does this cause a loss of rights/permissions?

What can be the problem - I am reluctant to start making security setting
changes until I get a bit of advice.

Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

Since you say *any*. I would suggest that you check for spyware.
Open task manager and delete anything suspicious. Download
and run the following products in this order:

1) Spybot
2) Adaware
3) Pest Patrol (manual cleanup only in free version)

Even if this isnt related to your problem its still good practice.
