Administrator password forgotten

Upon changing jobs a new user profile was created to add
me to the company domain. However the profile had no
administrator rights. When I wanted to add such rights,
I had forgotten the administrator password and cannot
retrieve any information from other profiles.Is there
anyway to retrieve the administrator password.I am the
owner of this PC.

First - are you sure this "not adding you to the admins group" is not
company policy?
