cannot delete file

A file called SVChost.exe has entered windows through the
internet. It keeps changing my connection info (user name&
dial up number) I have deleted the associated files so it
cannot do this anymore, but I cannot delete the host file.
When I attempt to it tells me that the file is being used
by windows and cannot be deleted. If I go into doss to
delete it It tells me the file is not accessable. Can
someone please help me?

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
