Cannot delete file

I have a bunch of unneeded files which have accumulated
under "Temp." When I try to delete them, I get an error
message: "Cannot delete: Cannot read from the source
file or disk." The file says that it has 0 Kb.

I have tried running various cleanup programs without
success.

How do I get rid of this kind of phantom file?
 
don't you wonder what they are from?.. If you know how towork in 'safe
mode' you can probably delete them that way...Have many of these?
