CAnnot create working User Account

Created new user account in XP Home Edition. System adds icon to the main
login menu but when you click to login as the new user the following error
message appears "Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be
loaded. Check that you are connected to the network or contact the system
administrator". The systems then takes you back to the mian logon screen.
After that if you click on the new user acoount it just resets the main logon
screen and never launches the user.

Help....

Still nothing....matter of fact it did not even show the new accounts I have
been trying to set up. When I set them up in safe mode they did not show up
in the Windows view. So I deleted them and tryed again several times. Now
all I get is a guest type account default after getting another error note
that says "Windows cannot load user profile"

Seems like something is messed up with the profiles. The only accounts that
work right are three that I have on there for a while.
