Cannot create VPN connection

why, after joining my notebook to the domain at work, has my VPN connection
gone? i have tried to create a new one but it will not let me.

Did you give your domain logon local administrator rights?

ps ... If you're now using your domain logon, it uses a different profile,
so the VPN connection you created with your local account logon won't
appear.

i created the VPN connection for "all users" i am a local and domain
administrator. it all worked ok till i joined the domain
