I have a Windows 2000 VPN setup and I can connect to the VPN with no
problem, but when I try and connect to the server with my RDC it will start
connecting to the server but then just hangs. The server is configured with
ISA as the firewall and I have opened up all the ports that I need to and I
am still having this problem. If I use an alternate VPN which is using a
Cisco VPN client to connect I can get to the server with my RDC with out any
problems. Anyone have any ideas what would be blocking this when going
through the Windows VPN?

Thanks

While in the Windows 2000 VPN, can you ping the terminal
server or telnet to port 3389 on the terminal server?
Soemthing like:

telnet {ip_address} 3389

-M

Yes, I can telnet to the port and if I use a different VPN connection (Cisco
VPN Client) I can connect to the TS with no problem. What happens is when I
launch the RDC it starts to launch the session and then just stops and I get
an error after a few minutes that the server has terminated the connections?
Any ideas?

Thanks
Gavin...
