Remote Desktop Client

I have a Windows 2000 VPN setup and I can connect to the VPN with no
problem, but when I try and connect to the server with my RDC it will start
connecting to the server but then just hangs. The server is configured with
ISA as the firewall and I have opened up all the ports that I need to and I
am still having this problem. If I use an alternate VPN which is using a
Cisco VPN client to connect I can get to the server with my RDC with out any
problems. Anyone have any ideas what would be blocking this when going
through the Windows VPN?

Thanks
Gavin...

If you are making a VPN connection first, the firewall port settings
shouldn't make any difference. The traffic will be coming through the
firewall as the encrypted payload of IP packets with GRE or ESP headers. The
firewall will only see these headers, not the VPN packets. The entire VPN
packet is encrypted.
