Cannot connect to NAS shares

I have Vista Beta2 joined to an active directory domain. For the most part
all network functions are working as expected with one exception. It will
not connect to any of the NAS filer shares, I get an "Error Code:
0x80070035, Network path not found found.". I can PING the filers just fine
and they respond to NBTSTAT queries as configured. I have no issues getting
to Windows shares and the XP/2000 boxes in the domain can get to the NAS
filers just fine.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks Dan Rhoads

You may have to change the way Vista authenticates.

Run secpol.msc

Under Local Policies > Security Options

Change the value of "Network Security: LAN Manager authentication
level" from "NTVLM2 responses only" to "LM and NTLM - use NTLMv2 session
security if negotiated"

Kerry,

Our domain policy specifies the policy setting you suggest. I double
checked the Vista client and it is picking up the GPO setting and applying
it(RSoP and visual by the icons in GPEDIT). Any other suggestions?

Thanks, Dan Rhoads

I can't think of anything. Make sure you report the behaviour with the beta
feedback tool.
