Cannot connect to DB on another pc

(I upgraded to v2). I have a 2 PC Office Professional XP network and I want
to share the DB on the one PC. It appears to successfully share out, but I
get this "cannot verify remote users.." message on the remote pc, I have
search the knowledgebases, cannot find a solution that works. I did notice
SQL Service Manager is running on the main PC, but not on the other. When I
go to "refresh services" I get a "access is denied" error.

The user is an administrator on both PC's, I have disabled firewall, etc..

Hi Jeff

Can you go to start > run > svrnetcn.exe and enable TCP/IP and named pipes
and then try sharing.

They are both checked, but I still have the same problem

Sry was away so could not reply immediately.By the way wanted some
additional info,are you still getting the same error message as you
mentioned previously?Also are on a domain or a peer to peer network.
