cannot close browser window

I cannot close the browser windows. A beep goes when I
try to close the window. And im not doing any other work
at the same time, such as printing. I uninstalled
Explorer to get back to my previous one but it didnt help.
I always have to close the windows using the Task manager
and before the window closes a message shows up that the
program is not responding but it closes when I click the
End Now button.
What to do?

It's likely that you have some sort of malware on your computer which is
interfering with IE.
