Cannot browse .pdf pages

I cannot read .pdf pages in my Internet Explorer 6.0 browser. I have
installed Adobe Reader 4.0 and it works ok by itself. What can be wrong?
Any advise would be appreciated.

Yeah, what Ted said. http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
Not positive, but, I believe you need to uninstall the old before installing
the new version.

Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit
there.

The current version of Acrobat Reader is 7.0. Try that one.
