Cannot Boot Win2K - May be caused by partition magic!

Hey Al

We installed partition magic on our home PC and now it has stuffed up our Win2K pro. When we boot up it goes into boot magic but you cannot do anything there, it then starts to load Win2K pro but halfway through it goes to the blue screen of death, along with a error message like this one:

0*0000007B <0*ED41B84C, 0*c0000034, 0*00000000, 0*00000000 Inaccessible_boot_devic
See Getting started for troubleshooting stop errors. The problem is, we have lost the getting started book! I cannot reach safe mode only the PC configuration files. We have tried booting the last knowen good configuration to no avail. Also cannot reach safe mode

So we are thinking about FDisking the disk but does anybody know how to get into command line during bootup? As we cant get into the menu with safe mode ect...

Either post here or email me any advice would be most appreciated!

Cheers Nic

Boot your machine with your Win2000 CD, select Repair when prompted, then
select Command Console. This will give you limited access to your machine.
