Cannot Authenticate from OS/X (10.3.x) to Windows 2003

Edward Silha

I have a Windows 2003 test environment w/ AD. I have File
Services for Mac installed and I am able to create Mac
Shares.

However, I cannot authenticate from any of the Mac's (All
G4's running Panther, 10.3.2)

The domain is 'office' (no extension)

I can attach to the server no problem from Windows XP
machines with the logon 'username@office' but the Mac's
will not authenticate.

I've tried both SMB and AFP.

Any ideas?

You're missing the User Authentication Module (UAM) from Microsoft:

Thanks a ton,

That DID do it, although I was under the impression that
Panther had a UAM built in.

Thanks again!
