Cannot add users from trusted domain

On NT and 2003 Servers I am unable to add any users from the a trusted
Windows 2003 domain to any folders. The users are able to hit shares on
these servers, but we cannot add any new ones.

I found one event in the event viewer that might be part of the issue:

The Security System could not establish a secured connection with the server
cifs/TrustedDomainDC. No authentication protocol was available.

Been researching this on various sites, and nothing changed on the trusted
domain--just not sure why we cannot add users from the trusted domain to our
resource domain folders (and no settings have changed). Any help is
appreciated!

When you established the trust, did it say it was successful?
What errors are in the event viewer of both machines?
Were you able to add the Windows 2003 AD Domain Admins tothe NT4
Administrators group?
Did you install any security solutions, possibly using IPSec on 2003?
