Cannot add a new appointment

This even SOUNDS like a silly question, but here goes.

I recently had to install a new hard drive, causing me to re-install all of
my software, including Office 2003.

CONFIG STUFF:
I am running Outlook 2003 on XP SP 2. I've got all the recent Microsoft
updates installed. I do use ActiveSync on an Axim that runs CE and it is
running fine.

ISSUE:
Outlook seems to be running well and there are no issues with Imp/Exp, mail,
contacts, etc. However, if I try to enter a meeting in Calendar nothing
happens. In other words, I double click my time entry, or go to "New", right
click for "New", nothing happens. No message. Nothing.

Any thoughts?
Thanks and Happy New Year!

Did you try closing and reopening Outlook?
