I have Windows XP, Outlook 2003. I cannot add a new appoinment in my
calandar. When I try to do this, nothing happens. Also, when I try to
delete an appointment the system gives me an error message that "Item may
not have been deleted correctly. If someone sent you item, that person's
copy of item may not be updated". I recently downloaded an update from
Microsoft (I believe it was service pack 2). Any suggestions? I am so
dependent on my calendar!! I need to be able to add new appoitnments. Am
puzzeled? Thanks!

Hi Tiffany,

Close Outlook, click on Start > Run and type outlook /cleanfreebusy
This will launch outlook and should hopefully refresh the calender.

Good morning! I am having no luck in resolving issue of not being able to
open appointments in the calendar. I double click, right click and select new
appointment, and go from the file menu all with nothing opening. Also, when I
try to move, delete, or edit a recurring appointment I get the error message
"The item may not have been deleted correctly. If someone sent you the item,
that person's copy of the item may not be updated." I've tried running detect
and repair, I deleted and created the person's profile (it's a co-worker's
account), I've shut down and restarted the computer... Most recently I tried
going to "run" and typed in: outlook /cleanfreebusy. After doing this Outlook
opened and an error message popped up stating "Unable to clean your free/busy
information on this server." What else can I do?
